Munich to welcome a new residential building
Munich, the fourth largest city in Germany is to welcome a new residential building in one of its poshest borough- Schwabing, situated in the northern part of the city.
Already boasting of 2 skyscrapers in its area, with the city having a total of 6, this project is being planned by the well known SSN Group from the Swiss and is expected to be completed in 2021.
Named the Covent Garden based on the luxurious London district, the complex comprises of a residential tower up to 60meters in height as well as smaller buildings. The complex will hold up to 300 apartments, a kindergarden and possibly small commercial spaces for rent as well.
A design by the Munich architectural office Allmann Sattler Wappner shows six residential buildings with green roofs and facades, but SSN’s spokesperson Edith Müller stresses that „The planning is still at a very early stage.“
196million euros has been invested into a total floor area of 30,000 square meters. Thanks to the attractive neighborhood, the price will lie in the middle to upper segment, although the ownership structure for the property remains unclear..
The SSN Group is currently carrying out 14 major projects in Germany and Switzerland, including many luxury apartments in Berlin, Hamburg and Frankfurt.
